We get asked this a fair bit, usually by people who’ve found us through a recommendation or spotted our work on a neighbour’s garden and want to know if we do more than just fencing. We do. Quite a lot more, as it happens.

Fencing
It’s where we started and it’s still the backbone of what we do. Timber close-board panels, concrete post and panel systems, picket fencing, chestnut palling, garden gates, driveway gates. We handle new installations and repairs, and we’ll always tell you honestly whether something is worth fixing or whether you’d be better off replacing it. No upselling for the sake of it.
Composite Fencing and Decking
Composite has come a long way and a lot of our customers are moving towards it precisely because it looks good and you don’t have to do anything to it. No painting, no staining, no worrying about rot. It costs a bit more upfront but over a ten year period the maths tends to work out. We supply and fit composite fencing and decking and can show you samples so you know exactly what you’re getting.
Patios and Decking
A well-laid patio changes how you use your garden. We design and install paved patios and timber or composite decking areas that work with the layout of your space rather than against it. Whether you want a simple seating area or something more substantial with steps and levels, we’ll put together something that suits the house and the way you actually live.
Turfing and Drainage
If your lawn is beyond rescuing or you’ve had building work done that’s left the garden a mess, we can re-turf and have it looking like a proper lawn again fairly quickly. We also deal with drainage issues, which in parts of Stockport and Manchester is more of a necessity than a luxury. Waterlogged gardens cause all sorts of knock-on problems so it’s worth tackling it properly rather than waiting for it to sort itself out.
Trees and Hedges
Overgrown hedges and trees that are encroaching where they shouldn’t be are a regular request. We trim, shape and where necessary remove. Keeping on top of hedges regularly is far less disruptive than leaving them for five years and having a major job on your hands, and a well-kept hedge makes a garden look looked after in a way that’s hard to achieve with anything else.
Garden Maintenance
For customers who want their garden to stay tidy without having to find the time to do it themselves, we offer ongoing maintenance. It’s straightforward and takes the stress out of keeping on top of things through the seasons.
